What is WiC?
It’s a plug and charge Iphone 6 case that can connect to any USB port. The connection cable is an original Apple, so you won’t have to worry about any compatibility issues.
How does it work?
It’s quite simple: the case is manufactured in polycarbonate and (Thermoplastic Polyurethane), concealing an original Apple connection cable with a lightning connector and USB connector on each side. If you have to charge your phone, all you need to do is open the lid, expose the connectors and charge your iPhone by plugging it into any USB port.

What made us decide to do this?
The whole thing arose from a personal need. Being active users of iPhone as we were, we always ended up carrying our charger with us out of fear of running out of battery and being disconnected. That’s why we got down to work and designed a battery charger case that would allow us to connect through USB and without any additional cables. Simple, don’t you think?
Production plan.
Our product is now fully designed, patented and ready for the production phase. The objective is to send out the first deliveries in March 2015.
- May: Production prototyping, moulds and first samples.
- June: production modifications and packaging design.
- July: production
- September: reception and distribution of goods.
In order to speed up procedures and reduce negotiation times, the preliminary agreements with manufacturers have already been reached.
